Fidelity Bond is a bond that must be posted by all broker dealers to ensure the public against employee dishonesty.

Fidelity bonds are required to be posted by the broker dealers, not by the registered reps. The amount of the bond is unique to each firm and is based on the firm’s minimum net capital requirement.
