Definition of Registered Options Principal (ROP)

Registered Options Principal (ROP) is an individual who has passed the Series 4 exam.

Applying "Registered Options Principal (ROP)" to Securities Exams:

Registered Options Principals (ROPs) who have passed the series 4 exam are licensed to supervise a member firm’s option business. A registered option principal may supervise the option business conducted by registered representatives and may review and approve option trades.
