Testimonial is the use of a recognized expert or leader to endorse the services of a firm
Broker dealers and investment advisers will sometimes use noted experts or people who are widely recognized to provide testimonials in an effort to increase business for the firm. If the person providing the testimonial is cited as an expert their qualifications must be noted.
